Here is the Fort Peck Crossing Video…for you experienced paddlers and Canadians please don’t laugh. I thought it was brave at the time….also, the lake opens up even more by the dam.

You are rocking’ it! That was a great video! I got that adrenaline feeling when you were preparing for your move to the south side. Kudos to you, Keith. Fort Peck Res is your humble pie, once conquered, you will have good confidence on the big ones to come. Enjoy and, well, respect the wind. It is not your enemy, just a different kind of friend. As Norm will tell you, “love the wind.” (That’s a bit of a stretch for me, but it is not your enemy, just a humility reminder.) 🙂 Onward!
Keith, Have you given any thought to hitching a ride behind a fishing boat on any of these lakes or rivers? You could sure make good time without wearing yourself out paddling. Interesting video.
