Why? Why can I?

“This thing called America, this isn’t normal anywhere, there are other countries that have freedom, it’s not like America.”  Brian Fleming

Memorial Day + 6

I apologize for the lack of recent updates.  All this getting ready for a long canoe trip has been time consuming.

Recently I met Brian Fleming, an Army Platoon Team Leader, at the Red River. I can not convey how inspiring it was to converse with him, I think I could have actually paddled 200 miles upstream after our meeting.  Sacrifices like the ones Brian, military members and veterans have made allow those of us with crazy dreams to fulfill our pursuit of happiness.

Without these sacrifices it would not be possible for me to canoe from Montana  to Dallas.  Frankly, it may not be possible even with these sacrifices.

I trust you will be inspired by my interview with Brian.  I apologize for the amateur feel for the video (blasted wind noise, closed end questions, etc.).  I am learning as I go along.  Brian, I promise I  will remember my field recorder for our next interview.

Please feel free to visit Brian’s website at www.blownupguy.com.

2 day until launch….

I agree with Dana great interview with Brian. My only suggestion, in the next few hours perhaps you can purchase some wireless noise canceling microphones for your future videos. Also if you have an IPad, Pinnacle Studio App is very easy to use to edit videos and to upload on YouTube as well. Just my 2cents….
